Christmas Morning

Well, my first Christmas has come and gone! It was so much fun! There was so much activity at Grandma and Grandpa's house. I have some great pictures to show you:

This is all of us on the stairs before going down to see the presents and stockings (an O'Mara family tradition!).

Here I am opening my presents. I loved pulling off the bows!

...and wearing them too!

Grandma and me!

Do you like my Christmas outfit?

I didn't stay in it long, though. I guess you could say I had a diaper problem...

I was so exhausted after all the excitement...I couldn't stay awake. Christmas morning really takes a lot out of you!

I hear I have another Christmas celebration to go too! I'll be going to Grandmom and Granddad's house on Sunday to open more presents. I can't believe it...everyone is so generous! I get to meet some great aunts and great uncles and more cousins!

I hope you all had a great Christmas! Happy New Year!!

Merry Christmas

My first Christmas is approaching quickly! Mommy has been busy shopping and wrapping presents to get ready. We leave on Monday night to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house so we can be there on Christmas morning. Mommy and Daddy got a Christmas tree and have it decorated with lots of pretty lights and ornaments. I love looking at the lights! Here is a picture of our tree:

Mommy and Daddy took some pictures of me for Christmas too. You may have seen these already, but I wanted to put them on my blog. I'll show you more pictures of me after Christmas. I'll try to get some pictures of me opening my presents.

Go Terps!

Mommy told me that basketball season is in full-swing. I'm not sure what that means, but Mommy is very happy about it. She says her favorite team is the University of Maryland, so I guess that's my favorite team too (Daddy likes Syracuse, but I think I'll cheer for Maryland...don't tell him, though!). I like watching soccer and football (I hear the Eagles beat the Cowboys...yay!) so I'm sure basketball will be fun. Mommy put me in my UMD outfit today. I can't wait to watch a game...GO TERPS!

The Newest Thing

I just love laying on my back. Mommy always tries to put me on my belly for tummy time, and I just don't like it! It's okay for a few minutes, but I'd just rather lay on my back. Well, today I showed her...She put me on my belly and I rolled over to my back! Then she put me on my belly again and I rolled to my back again! The third time I even rolled the other way to get on my back! It was great! I haven't figured out how to roll back to my belly again, but that's okay...I'm more comfortable on my back. Plus, I can see what's going on better when I'm laying that way.

Mommy got some pictures of me in the act:

Something New!

I haven't been able to get on the computer for awhile because I've been sick. Don't worry, it's just a cold...Mommy took me to the doctor yesterday, and he said everything was fine. I feel a lot better today. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I did, and I had fun shopping last Friday with Mommy, Grandmom and Aunt Patti. The mall was really crowded! I hear there's another holiday coming up...Christmas! That sounds really fun! I get to spend Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa.

Last night I went to visit my friend Gianna and she let me borrow her Bumbo seat. I'm not quite ready for it yet, but Mommy let me try it anyway. I'm sure I'll be using it a lot soon!

I'm a Thumb Sucker!

Yes, that's right...I love to suck my thumb! Looks like I'm taking after Mommy (and my cousin Shayne :) ) in that area. Who needs pacifiers when you have a thumb accessible at all times?! Mommy and Daddy say I've been sucking away in my sleep over the past couple of days. Mommy even got a picture of me the other day...

Daddy and Mommy said that we're going to celebrate Thanksgiving this week...it sounds like fun! We're going all the way to Maryland to be with Grandmom and Granddad and aunts, uncles and cousins. Finnegan is even coming with us. Grandmom said they're having a 24-pound turkey...that's more than twice my weight! I can't wait to see it and to spend Thanksgiving with more family!

A Week of Happenings

Last week Mommy's Friend, Karen, and her son, Tristan, came to visit us. It was great to finally meet them! Tristan made me smile, but Mommy's camera wasn't quick enough to catch the smiles...I do have one picture of Tristan and me together. Mommy, Daddy and I had fun spending time with them. I can't wait until I can go to MD and visit them at their house.
Then, on Saturday I had a very busy day. Grandma and Grandpa came to visit on Friday night because we were going to have a birthday party for Grandpa on Saturday. I also had another birthday party to go to on the same day. My friend Gianna turned 1 and invited me to her party. Here is a picture of Gianna eating her cake...I can't wait until I get to do that!

Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of Grandpa eating his cake, but Aunt Tracy and Aunt Leslie got some pictures of me. I had fun at Aunt Leslie and Uncle Paul's house. It's always fun to see aunts, uncles and cousins!

I got to spend time with Aunt Tracie yesterday. I felt so comfy in her arms that I fell right asleep when she held me. I'm glad I get to see her a lot too! Aunt Tracie brought a picture with her that my cousin Julia drew of me...it's a beautiful picture, and Mommy put it on our fridge.

Teagan's Update

I just wanted to let you know that more pictures will come SOON...thanks for waiting patiently! I've been laying low lately and just don't have much going on. I'm still growing and still CUTE (that's what everyone tells me!). I have some fun activities this week so I can make sure Mommy and Daddy take pictures. I have friends coming to visit this week from MD, and Grandma and Grandpa are coming this weekend to celebrate Grandpa's 65th birthday. Also, on Saturday I am going to my friend Gianna's 1st birthday party...

Mommy did find one picture of me...she took a picture of me after my bath a couple of weeks ago. I just love baths!

Here is a picture of my friend Finnegan. I think he sleeps more than I do (or at least tries to)! He hangs out on the sofa most of the day.

You should be hearing from me again soon...

Visit With Friends

This past weekend I got to meet some new friends. Too bad I was asleep most of the time during the visit...it would have been nice to get to know them better! I had a lot of fun when I was awake, though. Those boys are funny! I have a couple of pictures to show you of all of us and our mommies:

I guess the car ride to New Jersey just wore me out. When I'm at home, I'm awake all day...I love hanging out with Mommy. I smiled a lot for the camera last week. Here's one of the pictures Mommy took:

I went to the Doctor this week too and got my first round of shots. They really hurt, but Mommy and Daddy said I did really well. I was so worn out that day that I slept for 11 hours straight! I could have slept more, but Mommy woke me up in the morning to feed me! I felt a lot better today...back to my normal, happy self...

I'm Such a Happy Baby!

While Daddy was at work, Mommy let me get on the computer today. I just had to show you some more pictures of me. I started smiling a couple of weeks ago and Mommy and Daddy can't get enough of my smiles! Daddy is so funny...he makes me smile all the time. Daddy took these pictures of me in my bouncy seat:

Yesterday I got to go to Aunt Leslie's and have lunch with her, Libby, Aunt Tracy and Judah. I smiled as soon as I saw Judah's face...he's always so happy to see me. He and Libby are great cousins. Libby got to hold me too, which I loved. I smiled the whole time. Here I am looking at Libby:

Tonight I get to go to Aunt Tracie and Uncle Rob's house to spend time with them and Julia and Aunt Patti. I can't wait! It's so fun to be able to visit with so many people and see so many new places. Well, I gotta go for now...my belly is empty and I need to eat!

Week 6 Flies By!

Well this past week flew by...it was full of activity, and it sure went quick.

Mommy and Daddy and I went to Stone Harbor, NJ for three days. It was my first time to the beach and I had so much fun. I was such a good girl too...I slept and ate well, and enjoyed time with Mommy and Daddy and all the other Pastors and wives from our church. They are so much fun. Before we left, Mommy and Daddy and I went to the beach at Ocean City, NJ...here I am at the boardwalk:

We came home and Daddy was off to NY for the weekend...I got plenty of quality time with Mommy and even got to see Aunt Tracie and Julia on Saturday. When Daddy came home I showed off by doing a little tummy time...it wore me out!

Well, I guess that is all for this week...I have some more pictures from NJ that I will post soon...but I think I have a diaper to wreck.

...OK, here are two pictures from my time in NJ...here I am with Mommy, Daddy and the rest of the pastors and their wives:

And this is what I thought about my trip:

...well, I guess this week reaffirms it...I am the cutest baby in the world! See you next week for more evidence!

Another Full Week

This week started out pretty laid back...I was just chilling out...

Then my new friend Ian came from NJ...we spent all afternoon telling each other jokes, and laughing and laughing. He is pretty funny! And mom and dad were sure blessed to have Ian's parents come by. I look forward to getting to know Ian much better!
Later in the week, Grandmom and Granddad came up from MD to visit. Then the rest of the family came and we surprised Aunt Tracie with a 30th Birthday Party! It was so much fun...well actually I slept through the whole thing.

It was nice to meet my cousin Jessica...

...I also got to meet my Uncle Mike and Aunt Holly and my cousin Ryan...he was too shy to get in a picture with just me, but you can see him in the picture above on Aunt Holly's lap.

With another full week of activity, I was so tired...

...Dad said it was good to nap because next week we are going to Stone Harbor, NJ...wow, my first trip to the beach. I hope I don't burn my little buns!
We'll see next week!

Another Big Week...and I'm Still Small!

Well...I hit a big milestone this week...I lost my umbilical cord. It was pretty gross looking and I was glad to be rid of it. I finally got to take my first bath, now that it is gone!

The bath came just in time too...I had a whole slew of visitors again. There was Grandma Jo and Grandpa Ed (he held me even though he had shingles and was in pain)...look how I have him wrapped around my finger...like father like son I guess!

Aunt Quinn and Uncle Karl and all of thier boys visited too! They are fine Norwegian stock...which is almost as good as being Irish!

All the family left and we had a busy Sunday. Dad was in Brooklyn and Mom and I went to our church. Then Mom and Dad and I had a special trip on Monday. Dad took us to an Indian restaurant, and I was so good! I didn't even cry until the food came...Mom had to take me out to the car to change me. She is such a good Mom, always sacrificing for me!

On Wednesday, we had some special visitors from the church. The four Randolph girls and their parents came to visit. Here I am with Devon, Morgan and Tamsin.

And here I am with another new best friend, and the youngest Randolph girl...Bronwyn. She was born on Daddy's 31st birthday, just a few weeks before me!

The week finished up and some very kind and generous new friends came and brought pizza and hoagies and all sorts of wonderful presents! Here is Aunt Chrissy and Uncle Glen with Gianna and me...they are a blessing to have as friends!

Of all the fun things we did this past week, the most fun thing is laying in Mommy's arms.

What a wonderful blessing God has given us in being a family!

The Adventure Continues!

Well this week I started to play a little soccer...

...dad said I might be the best he has ever seen...we even got a chance to talk a little strategy and discuss my future college options.

He said I should stay home and play for a local school so we could spend lots of time together. One of the ways we spend time together is hanging out at the local starbucks...dad got a venti skim decaf latte and I got 4 shots of espresso...

...I thought that stuff would help me stay awake!

Saturday night, mom and dad took me to the Scottish-Irish festival...it was a lot of fun. We saw dogs and people wearing strange outfits and all sorts of meats that mom would never eat and even heard some fun music! Here is a picture of us at the festival:
Well, later in the week we went to church again...what a fun time that was! Here is my first time in a dress!

Then on Monday, some friends from the Pastor's College visited...

Then Monday night Uncle Jim, Aunt Tami, Jimmy and Cody visited...

With all of this fun, dad was beat...

...but I was ready to keep partying...let's see what next week holds! I hear that Grandma and Grandpa are coming as well as Uncle Karl, Aunt Quinn and the Dyrli boys...all the way from New England! What a fun life I have!
