Another Big Week...and I'm Still Small!

Well...I hit a big milestone this week...I lost my umbilical cord. It was pretty gross looking and I was glad to be rid of it. I finally got to take my first bath, now that it is gone!

The bath came just in time too...I had a whole slew of visitors again. There was Grandma Jo and Grandpa Ed (he held me even though he had shingles and was in pain)...look how I have him wrapped around my finger...like father like son I guess!

Aunt Quinn and Uncle Karl and all of thier boys visited too! They are fine Norwegian stock...which is almost as good as being Irish!

All the family left and we had a busy Sunday. Dad was in Brooklyn and Mom and I went to our church. Then Mom and Dad and I had a special trip on Monday. Dad took us to an Indian restaurant, and I was so good! I didn't even cry until the food came...Mom had to take me out to the car to change me. She is such a good Mom, always sacrificing for me!

On Wednesday, we had some special visitors from the church. The four Randolph girls and their parents came to visit. Here I am with Devon, Morgan and Tamsin.

And here I am with another new best friend, and the youngest Randolph girl...Bronwyn. She was born on Daddy's 31st birthday, just a few weeks before me!

The week finished up and some very kind and generous new friends came and brought pizza and hoagies and all sorts of wonderful presents! Here is Aunt Chrissy and Uncle Glen with Gianna and me...they are a blessing to have as friends!

Of all the fun things we did this past week, the most fun thing is laying in Mommy's arms.

What a wonderful blessing God has given us in being a family!

The Adventure Continues!

Well this week I started to play a little soccer...

...dad said I might be the best he has ever seen...we even got a chance to talk a little strategy and discuss my future college options.

He said I should stay home and play for a local school so we could spend lots of time together. One of the ways we spend time together is hanging out at the local starbucks...dad got a venti skim decaf latte and I got 4 shots of espresso...

...I thought that stuff would help me stay awake!

Saturday night, mom and dad took me to the Scottish-Irish festival...it was a lot of fun. We saw dogs and people wearing strange outfits and all sorts of meats that mom would never eat and even heard some fun music! Here is a picture of us at the festival:
Well, later in the week we went to church again...what a fun time that was! Here is my first time in a dress!

Then on Monday, some friends from the Pastor's College visited...

Then Monday night Uncle Jim, Aunt Tami, Jimmy and Cody visited...

With all of this fun, dad was beat...

...but I was ready to keep partying...let's see what next week holds! I hear that Grandma and Grandpa are coming as well as Uncle Karl, Aunt Quinn and the Dyrli boys...all the way from New England! What a fun life I have!

Week 2 is on!

Well, week number 2 started out pretty much the same as week 1 ended...I was just hanging out and napping...
Then, I got some special visitors! Grandmom and Granddad came to visit and help mommy while daddy went back to work.

That was so much fun...and they were so generous...they brought me a whole bunch of really cute outfits to complement my cuteness (confirmed in a recent poll...see below!). Then Aunt Tracie and Julia came to visit and spend time with me...not only did they visit...they brought me really cool presents...what a blessing to have such a generous family!

It was pretty relaxed, but that odd character kept trying to take the attention away from me...

...he is not so bad though...I just hope I outweigh him soon!

The day after Grandmom and Grandad left, mom and dad took me to meet my church family...this was my first Sunday service, and I was so excited...

...I didn't know what to expect, but it was a great time. Everybody was so nice and kept looking in my stroller at me and smiling and hugging or shaking hands with mom and dad. I look forward to talking with these people more. Then we sang songs (well, I mostly slept) and heard Mr. O preach (well, I mostly slept through that too)...then it was time to go. Mom said that we wouldn't be back for a whole week...

...that is, like, almost twice my lifespan away! I guess it isn't too long though...the last 10 days went so fast, I can wait another week! This adventure has been so fun...dad said he was going to take me to a very special place on Tuesday since he has the day off...he said something about reading and drinking coffee...we'll see what that is all about!

Until next time...cead mile failte!
