More Playground Fun

Yesterday, Mommy and I went to a great playground with Aunt Tracie and my cousin Jamison. We could walk to it from Aunt Tracie's house! I got to go on the swings, seesaw and down some of the slides. I had a lot of fun, but we couldn't stay too long because it was so hot! I had to be careful going down the slides...they were really hot too!

Here are some pictures:

All of the excitement wore baby Jamison out!

Finally, Some Warm Weather...

Today was such a nice day--the sun was shining and the birds were going "tweet, tweet." Mommy had been telling me since Wednesday that we would go for a walk on Friday. Well, the day finally came...it was today! Mommy got out my stroller, and we took off through the neighborhood.

We saw pretty flowers and trees, heard lots of birds and even saw some puppies! On our way back to the house, we stopped at the neighborhood playground. It's a new playground, so Mommy and I wanted to check it out. We were hoping that there would be some swings, but there weren't any. The playground does have three slides, though. Mommy took me down the little one and the middle-sized one. It was fun! I didn't want to leave, but Mommy said we could come back another time with Daddy...

Last Week

I had a fun time last week with Grandmom and Granddad. They took good care of me while Daddy and Mommy were at a conference. I loved playing with the toys in the "toy drawer" in their kitchen and in the big playroom. There was lots to do! I even found some other interesting things to play with...like Grandmom's bears and figurines...I hope that was okay...

Grandmom took pictures and videos of me so Daddy and Mommy could see all the fun I was having. Here are some pictures from the week:

Easter

I had a fun Easter this year. The whole weekend was filled with activities. First, Grandma and Grandpa came to visit on Friday. It was great to see them again. Then, on Saturday I went to an Easter egg hunt. It was fun to find eggs and then open them up to find CANDY! Mommy even let me eat some! I woke up on Sunday and found an Easter basket on my highchair...Daddy and Mommy got me some eggs and presents. We then went to chuch, and I got to wear one of the dresses Grandmom got me. I got to wear my new sandals too!

I didn't think things could get much better...but I found out there were more activities. Daddy, Mommy and I went to Uncle Paul and Aunt Leslie's house and got to make homemade pasta for dinner. It was so good! I had 3 helpings! Then for dessert my cousin Sarah made homemade soft ice cream to go along with the brownies that Aunt Leslie made. I couldn't have asked for a better meal! Mommy even let me eat the brownie and ice cream all by myself! I had 2 servings of that too!

Mommy got some pictures of me at the egg hunt and in my Easter dress:

A New Skill

This post won't have a picture because I don't want to gross anyone out. With that said, I should tell you what I learned to do this week...

I'll start by saying that I don't do well with naps anymore. I guess I don't need that much sleep. Over the past month or two Mommy has been letting me play in my crib during naptime when I don't sleep. That started to get pretty boring this week. I needed to find something fun to do in my crib. I already knew how to unzip my sleepsack, so that wasn't too fun anymore. On Monday, I decided to take off my diaper. That was fine. It was dry and I waited until after my nap to use the potty. But for some reason I had a poopy diaper yesterday, and it didn't feel too comfortable. So, I decided to take off my diaper again.

I'm sure you can guess what happened...yeah, it was pretty bad. There were feces everywhere...in my hair, on my face, on my hands and feet and under my nails. It smelled pretty bad too (Mommy said my room smelled like a zoo!). And to top it all off, I peed afterwards in my crib. I tried to hold it in and go on the potty, but Mommy didn't come in time. She didn't come and get me until the feces was dried and caked on my skin! Pretty gross, huh?

When Mommy saw me she grabbed me, stripped me down and put me in the tub. She got everything off, and I smelled much better. I love baths, so it was nice to get an extra bath this week. But Mommy told me not to take off my diaper anymore and that I should go on the potty. She told me to tell her when I need to go even if it's naptime. I know I need to obey Mommy, so I will try to do that.

Today, Mommy put me in a onesie with snaps and put my sleepsack on backwards so I couldn't get into my diaper. We'll see how long that keeps me out... :0)
