I Love My Dog

Finnie is so funny...he makes me laugh all the time! Now that Daddy and Mommy have a camcorder, I just had to have them film me watching him. I love when he plays tug-of-war with Daddy...he's so quick and never lets up! I can't stop laughing when I see him playing...

(Sorry about the bad camera work at the beginning of the video...Mommy was having trouble with the camera, and Daddy wasn't able to edit it with our computer...)

Happy Easter!

Today I learned what Easter is all about. People have been telling me it's all about the Easter Bunny bringing candy and eggs, but I didn't get any of that this year. Easter is the holiday where we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. He died on the cross to save us from our sins and rose again on this day. That's pretty amazing!


I hear next year I'll get an Easter basket, though. And maybe I'll get to dye some eggs like my cousins did this year. I can't eat any of that good stuff yet. I just hope Mommy lets me eat candy...right now all I get to eat is cereal and fruits and veggies!

I had a good time celebrating Easter yesterday with Grandma and Grandpa and my aunts, uncles and cousins. They had a lot of great food...they always have yummy meals when they get together...pretty soon I'll be able to join in!

Grandmom's Birthday

Grandmom turned 65 last Saturday, so we had to celebrate big-time. We had a stretch limo pick her and Granddad up at their house to take them to Mustang Alley's in Baltimore. We met them outside the restaurant and surprised Grandmom with dinner and a bowling party.

I took a nap while everyone was eating so I would have enough energy for the bowling afterwards. I hear they had a lot of food!

After the bowling, we went back to Aunt Patti and Uncle Murray's for cake and ice cream.

We had a great time. Grandmom was really surprised too.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Yesterday I learned that St. Patrick's Day is the most important day of the year (that's what Daddy told me). St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland (which is the best country in the world...Daddy told me that too). We had a good time celebrating. Daddy made shepherd's pie and brown soda bread for Mommy, Aunt Tracy, Micah, Caleb, Shayne and Judah. I heard it was really good.

We were all decked out in our green clothes too...

I even got to wear my cool Ireland hoodie...

It was a fun day...we Irish really know how to celebrate! I love being Irish, but I hear that I'm also Italian and English...Do they have any fun holidays?

You Didn't Believe Me, Did You?

I've been hearing from some of you that you don't believe I type my own blog entries. I do, and I have proof! I had daddy take some pictures of me updating the blog.

See, there I am at the computer. I just need Mommy and Daddy's help to get me up on the desk. Other than that, it's all me! Daddy also wanted me to mention that I can already type 60 words a minute! He's teaching me now how to use iTunes and Microsoft Office. I should be completely computer literate in no time!

So, from now on, I hope you all believe me when I talk about my blog. I think the next thing I need to work on is my grammar...Daddy and Mommy don't help too much in that area... :)

Fun with My Friend, Ian

Last Saturday Daddy and Mommy took me to visit my friend, Ian. We had a good time with him and his mommy and daddy. He is a very big boy and is very active! He's already starting to walk around (with mommy's help) and pulls himself up on everything. He wanted to grab my face and jump on top of me the whole time. But that didn't bother me...I can take it! It was fun just to watch him...

I hope I get to see Ian again soon. I'm sure he'll be walking by then! He'll have to give me some pointers!

My New Favorite Thing

I realized just recently that I've been wasting my time sucking on my fingers. I found something even better to put in my mouth...my TOES! I can't believe they've been there all along and I've just figured out that I can get them to my mouth. Mommy keeps putting on socks to cover them up, but I've found out how to get them off too.

My toes are great! I hope Mommy doesn't decide to start making me wear shoes...they'll just have to come off too!

Mommy's Birthday!

Well today is a special day! Mommy is 32! Today we are celebrating, and dad said I should get her a present or make her something...so I thought long and hard about what to get her...

But I don't have much money. So I thought, maybe I should go to the 'hood and buy her a nice watch or DVD player out of a van. I got dressed up in my 'hood-gear...

...but everything there was stolen...I couldn't buy that stuff. So I came home and asked Finn what I should do...we talked about wrapping up one of my favourite toys and giving it to her.

...we decided that was a bad idea too...so Finnie suggested I make something, but I could only think of one thing that I could make...
...but that wouldn't be so nice.
