Holiday Happenings

Wow, I haven't posted on my blog for a long time! I'm so sorry! A lot has been happening, though! I will have to get you updated...

First, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I did. We spent the day at my Aunt Tracy and Uncle Todd's house. All of the food was so good!

Mommy and I made a turkey craft too:

That was a lot of fun. (We didn't have any brown or orange construction paper which is why our turkey may look a little strange! :) )

We're now full-swing into the Christmas season. Daddy and Mommy have been busy shopping and getting ready for the big day. I'll let you know about all of the festive activities!

Outer Banks

Well, we ARE back from the Outer Banks...we didn't get stuck in the tropical storm...I've just been busy and haven't been able to blog about our trip.

We had a lot of fun even though it rained everyday. We made it to the beach and outdoor pool once, but mostly stayed inside or went to the indoor pool. It was great to just hang out with good friends.

I think my favorite part of the trip (besides our family day on Wednesday) was "swimming" in Uncle Kevin and Aunt Jill's tub with my best friend, Bronwyn...

We made a lot of good memories on our trip and enjoyed some great food! I loved the pancakes that Aunt Denise made one of the mornings...some even had chocolate chips! Yummy! Nothing's better than chocolate for breakfast! (Mommy said that was just something special for vacation, but I'm still trying to get her to make those at home! :) )

Here is a picture of some of the girlies on the last day. Notice the sun coming through the windows? Yes, it was sunny on the day we left...the only sun we saw all week! (But that's okay!)

I had to show you this last picture too. I'm wearing the cool shirt that Daddy and Mommy got for Liadan. I wish they had it in my size...but that didn't stop me from trying it on when we got home!

We Had a Good Summer

I can't believe summer is already over...it went so fast! We had a lot of fun this year. I enjoyed the warm weather and our vacations at the cabin and the beach. I'm going to miss the nice weather, but I'm really looking forward to the winter and SNOW! It won't be long before we can make snowmen in our yard! Yay! And this year Liadan can go out and help!

I know, we still have a little time before winter comes. I think I'm gonna enjoy the cool Fall weather too. I think every season is nice!

I want to show you some pictures that Mommy took a couple of weeks ago. The first one is a picture of me holding a Happy Face Cookie from the farmer's market. It was yummy! The second is a picture of my sister doing one of her new favorite things.

Tomorrow we're off to the Outer Banks, NC for another beach vacation with some of our best friends. Our whole family is looking forward to it. I'll definitely post some pictures when we get back...

I'm 3!

I had another birthday this week and turned 3 years old! It's been taking some practice for me to show everyone how old I am. Here's how I do it...

Mommy keeps telling me that I need to do it a different way, but this has been working fine for me...everybody knows what number I'm holding up!

My little sister had a great 1-year birthday party on Sunday. We had a lot of fun watching her eat her cake. Everyone told me that she didn't have as much fun eating her cake as I did. Daddy had to take me into the pool to clean off at my party! Liadan was a lot more neat than I was.

I got a lot of nice presents for my birthday. I'm so thankful for wonderful family and friends. Two of my favorite presents were a princess dress up set and a Dora backpack. I've been playing a lot with them and all of my other gifts.

Vacation at the Beach

I had a great beach vacation last week! The week was filled with lots of activities. I went to the beach, of course, but also went to the pool, a waterpark, the boardwalk and some great restaurants! We had incredible weather too...it was sunny every day!

My favorite things over the week were going on the big slide with Daddy at the waterpark, going on the rides at Rehoboth and playing in the sand at the beach. I also liked going in the ocean with my sister, but she didn't like it too much. She cried when we put her in the water and in the sand. We did have fun together in the pool, though. I hope she likes the beach when she gets bigger.

Having a Fun Summer

I'm having a good summer so far. We already went to NY and spent time with Grandma and Grandpa O'Mara. Next week we go to the beach with the Leeds Family.

We've been spending much of our time indoors, though, because it has been so hot. My sister and I have been able to find lots to do even if we can't go outside. One of my favorite things to do is play dress-up. I like to wear skirts and dresses, especially the skirt that my cousin, Sarah made for me. My ice cream shirt (my favorite!) is my first choice in shirts!

My sister's favorite thing to do right now is to climb on things. She loves to climb the stairs and pull up on furniture and toys. I help her if she can't get down and make sure she doesn't go down the stairs.

Chuck E. Cheese's!

It's official...I'm now POTTY TRAINED!! It took a little while, but I'm now a big girl! Daddy and Mommy said that when I was potty trained that they would take me to Chuck E. Cheese's. So I got to go on Monday! And since it was my best friend's birthday that day, I got to take her too!

It was great! We had pizza for lunch, went on rides and played lots of games! Then we got to pick out prizes!

Keuka Lake

Last week we went to the cabin for a fun vacation with Grandma and Grandpa. I got to go swimming and go on Grandpa's boat! It was nice to have a kid-sized pool so my sister and I could cool off in the heat. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for great time!

Oh, I can't forget the comfy hammock...Daddy and I had fun rocking in it.

Swimming in Our Pool

It's been so hot lately. I'm glad Mommy got out my pool so I could cool off. My sister and I went swimming the other day and had a lot of fun...so much fun that we wouldn't even look at Mommy when she tried to take pictures of us! I hope we get to go swimming a lot more this summer!

I Love Warm Weather

I love that it's almost Summer and that we've had a lot of warm weather lately. It's so fun to play outside. I especially love riding on my new scooter that my cousin, Libby and her family gave me. Thank you!


I have even more fun playing outside with my little sister. I love that she can do a lot more now. I think we're gonna become best friends!

Greek Festival

Last week Daddy, Mommy, Liadan and I went to a Greek Festival. After eating some yummy Greek food, we got to go on rides and play games.

Memorial Day Weekend

Last weekend Daddy went to a conference in Baltimore, so Mommy, Liadan and I went to Grandmom and Granddad's house. We got to do a lot of fun things.

Thursday night I got to have a giant, yummy ice cream cone...

On Saturday, we went to Chick-fil-A where I got to play on the playground with my cousin, Cory...

On Sunday, we had a cookout with aunts, uncles and cousins. The weather was so nice that we got to get into our bathing suits and go down the "slip n slide." I think that was my favorite part of the weekend...

Then on Monday we got to spend time with some other cousins.

There is always a lot of activity at Grandmom and Granddad's and a lot of good food too! Thanks for the fun weekend!

Family Day

Monday is family day for us because Daddy is off work. We always do something fun as a family. Yesterday we went to the King of Prussia Mall. I love going there! One of my favorite things to do besides walking around like a big girl is to ride on the rides. This time Liadan went on the ride with me. It was fun!



My MOST favorite thing about yesterday, though, was being able to spend time as a family again...I always look forward to Mondays!

Fun with My Sister

I'm having a lot of fun with Liadan now...so much fun that I'm forgetting to blog...sorry! Liadan is doing a lot more things and has been playing with me. She moves around on the ground pretty well now. I like to put her toys across the room and have her do the "inchworm" to go and get them. It's so funny to watch!

We like to sing and read together too. I love how she's starting to talk and says "da-da" and waves and says "hi" to me.

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter this year. I loved dyeing eggs, getting an Easter basket, wearing my new dress (thank you, Aunt Tracy!) and having an Easter egg hunt at church. They were all great, but the most exciting part was learning about what we really celebrate at Easter. Our Savior, Jesus, died on the cross for our sins and rose again...how amazing!

It's Spring!

Spring is finally here and warmer weather is coming! Last week was so nice that Mommy took Liadan and me for a walk. We had a good time seeing and hearing all of the birds outside...we even heard a woodpecker! I liked looking at all of the pretty flowers that are coming up too! I hope the weather stays nice so we can go for even more walks this Spring!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

St. Patrick's Day is one of the best days of the year...especially if you're Irish! We always celebrate by wearing green and eating some good Irish food. This year our whole family went to a friend's house where we had some Guinness Stew. Yummy!
