Happy Birthday to Me!

Yesterday I turned 1! Daddy and Mommy had a party for me with friends and family. I had such a great time! Everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to me, and I even got to taste cake for the first time...well...I guess I should say I got to taste icing, because that's mostly what I ate from my cake! I had a whole cake all to myself too!

Here are some pictures from my party...

Pretty messy, huh?! But it was so good! Mommy and Daddy really let me dig in! Daddy took me in the pool afterwards to clean me up...I was covered in icing!

The day went so well. I told Mommy and Daddy that I'd be fine without a nap...and I was!

I want to thank everyone for making my 1st birthday so special. Thanks especially to Uncle Todd and Aunt Tracy for letting us use their house (and their pool :) ) for the party!

(I wonder if I'll have a party next year...I hope Daddy and Mommy at least let me have cake again...it was so yummy!)

Our Vacation at the Lake

We had another fun week this week...we went to Keuka Lake in NY with Daddy's family. The water there was very nice, but I only got to stick my feet in. That's okay because I had a good time just looking out at the water and watching everyone swim. The lake was so much calmer than the ocean!

Daddy took me down to the shore and on the dock by Grandpa's boat.

That's where I got to watch my cousins swim.

Daddy also took me on the hammock. I had fun relaxing and swinging back and forth!

It was great being able to spend some time with the boys. I hadn't seen them since Christmas...but I get to see them again next week when we go to MA...Yay!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for a great vacation! I had a lot of fun with you at the cabin!

Climbing the Stairs

I am now officially a stair climber! After some practice while we were on vacation, Daddy let me go on the stairs at home without any help, and I climbed all the way up! It's great to be able to climb so high!

Here are some pictures of me in the process:
