Holiday Happenings

Wow, I haven't posted on my blog for a long time! I'm so sorry! A lot has been happening, though! I will have to get you updated...

First, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I did. We spent the day at my Aunt Tracy and Uncle Todd's house. All of the food was so good!

Mommy and I made a turkey craft too:

That was a lot of fun. (We didn't have any brown or orange construction paper which is why our turkey may look a little strange! :) )

We're now full-swing into the Christmas season. Daddy and Mommy have been busy shopping and getting ready for the big day. I'll let you know about all of the festive activities!

Outer Banks

Well, we ARE back from the Outer Banks...we didn't get stuck in the tropical storm...I've just been busy and haven't been able to blog about our trip.

We had a lot of fun even though it rained everyday. We made it to the beach and outdoor pool once, but mostly stayed inside or went to the indoor pool. It was great to just hang out with good friends.

I think my favorite part of the trip (besides our family day on Wednesday) was "swimming" in Uncle Kevin and Aunt Jill's tub with my best friend, Bronwyn...

We made a lot of good memories on our trip and enjoyed some great food! I loved the pancakes that Aunt Denise made one of the mornings...some even had chocolate chips! Yummy! Nothing's better than chocolate for breakfast! (Mommy said that was just something special for vacation, but I'm still trying to get her to make those at home! :) )

Here is a picture of some of the girlies on the last day. Notice the sun coming through the windows? Yes, it was sunny on the day we left...the only sun we saw all week! (But that's okay!)

I had to show you this last picture too. I'm wearing the cool shirt that Daddy and Mommy got for Liadan. I wish they had it in my size...but that didn't stop me from trying it on when we got home!

We Had a Good Summer

I can't believe summer is already over...it went so fast! We had a lot of fun this year. I enjoyed the warm weather and our vacations at the cabin and the beach. I'm going to miss the nice weather, but I'm really looking forward to the winter and SNOW! It won't be long before we can make snowmen in our yard! Yay! And this year Liadan can go out and help!

I know, we still have a little time before winter comes. I think I'm gonna enjoy the cool Fall weather too. I think every season is nice!

I want to show you some pictures that Mommy took a couple of weeks ago. The first one is a picture of me holding a Happy Face Cookie from the farmer's market. It was yummy! The second is a picture of my sister doing one of her new favorite things.

Tomorrow we're off to the Outer Banks, NC for another beach vacation with some of our best friends. Our whole family is looking forward to it. I'll definitely post some pictures when we get back...
