Better Picture of My Teeth

Well, it's been about a week and a half since I got my first tooth, and now my 4th tooth is coming in! I sure got a lot of teeth fast! My whole mouth hurt, but the soreness didn't last too long. I feel better now and will even let Daddy and Mommy see my teeth...well, at least my bottom teeth...I don't want to show my top teeth until they're all the way through.

I think I'll let everyone see my top teeth soon. Until then, I hope I get a break from this teething business...at least until after this weekend. Saturday is Daddy's birthday, but we're going to celebrate it on Sunday or Monday because we're going to a party that day...we're going to New Jersey to see Daddy and Mommy's college friends and all of their kids. It's going to be fun! I'll make sure we get pictures. I just hope I don't sleep through the party like I did the last time we all got together (when I was 1 month old)...I'm planning to not even take a nap that day!

Happy 4th of July

I hope everyone had a good time celebrating our nation's birthday. I know I did. I got to spend time with family, which is always fun. Uncle Murray and Aunt Patti had a bunch of people to their house to celebrate. I had to miss out on the fireworks, though...hopefully I'll get to see them next year...

While we were there, Mommy got pictures of me in the rocking chair that she had in her room when she was a little girl. I can't believe Mommy was ever that small! It was fun to sit in a chair that was my size!



I wanted to show off my USA shirt too...I had to dress for the occasion!

I Finally Got One!

I finally got my first tooth! Daddy and Mommy said it was coming, but it took so long for it to come! They had told me at 4 months that I would get one soon, but it didn't come for another 6 months! I thought for a while that I would never get one! I do so well with chewing anyway...why did I need teeth? But I've been looking around at everyone's mouth, and they all have a bunch of them...I guess I do need them. They will help me chew really hard foods when I get older.

It's great having a tooth and everything, but I do have to tell you that it HURT when it came through! And how many more will I have come in?! I don't know if I could handle that! The pain of my new tooth kept waking me up at night! That's a lot of sleep to lose! Mommy gives me medicine sometimes, and that definitely helps.

So, now that I have a tooth, everyone wants to see it...but I don't want everyone looking in my mouth all the time! Daddy and Mommy keep trying to look at it and take a picture of it, but I keep covering it up with my tongue...I like how it feels!

Mommy tried to take a picture of my tooth today, but I didn't make it easy for her..

You can kind of see my tooth in the next picture...it's on the bottom on my left, just above the shiny part of my lip...

Maybe later today I'll let Mommy or Daddy have a good look at it so they can have a decent picture of my tooth...after my nap might be good, when I'm a little more awake!
