Fun With Tummy Time

I have so much fun now being on my tummy...I can actually hold myself up for a long time. I love being active! Mommy puts me on the blanket that my Great Aunt Jeannette made for me. It's big so when I roll I can still stay on the blanket. I love playing with all my toys too!

My First Taste of Cereal

For the last couple of months I've been watching Daddy and Mommy eat food and I've been wondering when they would give ME some. Well, that time came yesterday! I'm now officially eating solid food! Mommy gave me rice cereal last night. I was so excited to try it at first...

...But after I tried it, I wasn't so sure about it. It didn't taste as good as I thought it would...

...But Finnie sure wanted some. He was there right beside me the whole time hoping he could get a taste!Boy, it sure was messy too. You would think Mommy could get all the cereal in my mouth!

I hear I'm gonna have more today...I hope it tastes a little better. I probably just have to get used to it. I bet some fruit would taste good with it, but Mommy says I'm not ready for that yet. I can't wait to try more food...

Happy Birthday, Finnie!

Today is Finnegan's 7th birthday...wow, he is so OLD! I can't wait until I'm 7, but Mommy and Daddy say they want me to be a baby forever! Sorry Daddy and Mommy, whether you like it or not, I'm growing more and more everyday! :)


Mommy made Finnie some birthday doggie cookies. He had one today, and he loved it! He took it under the coffee table to make sure Mommy and I couldn't get it. He's so funny!
Finn loves to check out my toys and to lick my head (that really tickles!). I just like watching him.


After Mommy took the first picture, Finn hid behind the chair in my room. Can you see him?
Okay, you probably can't see him, but he is there. I guess he was camera-shy today. I think Mommy needs to give him another cookie. Too bad I can't eat cookies yet...
